They're not fashionable, and you're more likely to see them on greetings cards than museum walls, but I find there's something so uplifting about Nicholas Hely Hutchinson's paintings. They're often of landscapes I know and love - such as Dorset, Cornwall and the west coast of Ireland - or wild flower meadows, remote cottages and bluebells woods.
